Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Ability to create a default filter for My Tasks tab

Right now My Tasks tab is not configurable. Users request the ability to create and save a default filter for the My Tasks tab.

Scenario: users may be assigned to objects in a workflow stage for a long period of time. Eg. a "monitoring" stage that is not up for reassessment until a year later (task will have a Due Date far in the future).

Although My Tasks is already sorted in a desirable format, users request a way to "hide" assigned tasks altogether based on certain criteria. E.g. have a default filter applied to My Tasks to exclude tasks with due date more than 90 days away. They find it overwhelming that My Tasks dashboard shows "My Tasks (95)", when it could be that 90% of those tasks are not due until next year, they prefer to see "My Tasks (8)" as a more manageable representation of their immediate tasks.
