We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Include/exclude fields from bulk update in TFUI & do not force update of controller fields
Please allow for configuration of which fields within an object can be bulk updated. This way, bulk update can honor the fields that are editable in a task view.
Please do not force update/selection of controller fields. I understand why you would be forced to update dependent fields if you are bulk updating controller fields, but it does not make sense that when bulk updating a dependent field, you need to update a controller field. For example, on risks, our users need to select an Action, "Accept", "Mitigate", "Transfer" or "Avoid". The actions they have available are dependent on the Risk Ranking on the risk. For example, Accept is not available if the Risk Ranking is High. It makes sense that if you bulk updated the Risk Ranking, you would need to clear out or bulk update the Actions, since they might not be valid for the updated controller Risk Ranking field. However, if you are bulk updating the Action to mark risks as "Mitigate", you should not need to update the Controller Risk Ranking field (which, like many Controller fields, is a read only field in the Risk Task View and users should not be able to update via bulk update, per point 1.)
