Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Grid View in Task Focused UI should have same display functionality as in Standard UI

The Standard UI offers the ability to display up to 3 levels of object instances in Filtered List Views or Grid Views.
The Grid Views in the new UI so far are missing this ability.
It further would be beneficial, if more than 3 levels could be displayed.
Export to Excel of this structure is required as well.

Without this current functionality usage of Task Focused UI will not be possible for our approach.

    Hi John,


    We are currently upgrading RBS from Std UI to TFUI and the customer has asked for an update on this issue.

    I understand it's not a part of the product yet due to other priority tickets (8.3) but would request you to consider this for future release. In the interim, we should be good with a Cognos report.

    This request will not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy. IBM is soliciting RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.

    Also there is only one Grid and Creation View supported in Tasked UI? Applicable across all profiles?

    RBS use GRID views on RCA for Process, Risk and Controls as the start point for reviewing RCA content.  We also use it for RCA>Risk Eval>Control Eval to view the latest approved position of the RCA.  This is critical for the users to still have this view.

    Regarding the comment "we are not able to upgrade our current installation"... You can (and should) upgrade to a later OpenPages version prior to the end of this year (before the end of standard support for version 7.3 ends).

    Please note that all Standard UI functionality continues to be available in our latest release. There are many other reasons to upgrade from our version 7.3 to a later version before the end of this year (i.e. end of standard support for 7.3 is December 31, 2019).
