Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Control Total functionality Changes within FTM

The business requests the following changes to the Control Total functionality within FTM. Can this functionality be accommodated with a custom transmission solution or do we need to submit a functionality GAP to IBM?

Control total business requirements:
1. Ability to search by Partner ID
2. Mandatory fields on the Create Control Total dialog should be:
a. Partner ID or Customer Name
b. Payment type
c. Credit Amount
d. Debit Amount
3. The control total edits/validation should be performed against the same list of mandatory fields:
a. Partner ID or Customer Name
b. Payment type
c. Credit Amount
d. Debit Amount
4. Effective date. What is the significance of the Effective Date. Is this the transmission date? Why is the effective date currently required?
5. Entry Addenda Count - Is this the Item count?
6. The Terminology on this dialog is related to ACH specific rather than Batchwire and other type of transmission.
