We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

TFUI - Make validation and operation definitions re-usable across stages within workflow and across workflows
Many validation and operations would occur during many/all stage transitions. Currently the whole definition has to be re-entered for every stage required which is error-prone and time-consuming.
Ideally it should be possible to define the va...
TFUI - Enable Workflow Validations and Operations on SAVE
Many of the data quality rules span objects - Eg. Impact booking date must be GT Event Occurrence Date. Form rules only allow for rules on a single object so cannot be used. Workflow rules for validations and operations only run on workflow tran...
Admin Export should either export the selected dependent picklists and field dependencies or remove the optiion to make the specific selections
The current Admin export feature allows you to select specific field dependencies and specific dependent picklists - however the XML exported contains ALL rather than the selected ones.
Ideally the export XML should only contain the selected i...
Greater variation of colours available in the Task Focussed UI
The TFUI has limited colours ranges. Red Amber Yellow Green is a standard colour configuration utilised within our organisation, however there is no amber available. It would be good if the colour range was fully configurable
System Administrator option to prevent user login, disconnect existing users and display notification message.
When an administrator needs to perform some system maintenance operations we may need to keep users out of the system - but the system has to remain up. Eg. Large hierarchy change with data moves and security access changes. Or an upgrade where ...
Currently in a Grid View, the object instances are sorted by default by the Name field in an ascending order. In an embedded Grid, the default sorting can be configured to meet ones needs. This is not possible in a Grid View. Users have to apply t...
In addition to the existing filters on 'Workflow Instances', it would be very useful to be able to filter by folder path. Ideally this would form part of a cut-down Business Admin access, but if not, it's still useful if the system administrator h...
New UI - Criticality to allow for 'Not Defined' or 'Not Applicable'
On some objects it is meaningless to define criticality, or at least meaningless when only having fields on that object available for the rule
e.g. Action object may not have a RAG, because the RAG is defined on the parent issue
e.g. Test Pla...
Allow more complex evaluation conditions in JSON rules
Currently, the field types supported for editable/readonly, and visible/hidden rules in JSON are only enumeration and actor fields, and rules are defined as all-AND (allOf) or all-OR (anyOf).
There is no way to:
make a field visible or require...
Extend object manager tasks to import configuration
There are many tasks which can only be performed by using object manager and not through import configuration. Can we extend these capabilities to import configuration, at least the ones which do not required SAM.
Enhance the import configuration...
